U Bein

Have you ever had the impression of entering a painting? That is what happened to us at U Bein Bridge, a stone's throw away from Mandalay. Departure before sunrise, sitting on the moped behind the famous Mister Htoo, the ambience is striking when we face what is known as the longest teak bridge in the world. Fishermen balancing on their fragile boats, young monks going to the city, a light worthy of the greatest impressionists. All the ingredients were there to build an unforgettable moment!

We find here the raw green used in the colours of Bagan, this time associated with a ‘wine’ red reminiscent of the robes worn by monks. A timeless palette, modern and old at the same time... some would call it "vintage".
